In this conversation, you will talk about places in a city and discuss different places in your hometown or your university town, sharing your favorite places and describing some locations by using Genitive case in different contexts. You will review expressions with motion verbs "ходить" and "ездить," talk about transportation and practice simple giving simple directions to different destinations.

3. Interactive task: practice asking directions
1) Open GoogleMaps or another map of your university town. Select a start location (Студенческий центр, общежитие)
2) Imagine that you are a tourist addressing a student; use polite forms and ask how to get to several places, using expressions for going by foot and going by transportation:
"Скажите, пожалуйста, как дойти до станции метро?"
"Извините, Вы не скажете, как доехать до вокзала?"
3) Respond using simple directions with imperatives (идите прямо по улице..., поверните направо на улицу... станция метро слева) or with infinitives (вы можете доехать на автобусе номер 55)
4) Ask about several places, such as:
